Nancy Frawley Marquis is a leader and champion in helping to end employment discrimination of members of the LGBTQ community. Nancy spent almost 37 years as a flight attendant for United Airlines, during which she was heavily involved with the union representing flight attendants, advocating for equal pay and better working conditions. As the President of the Association of Flight Attendants at United Airlines, Nancy filed the first grievance in the industry to protect the employment rights of those members afflicted with HIV/AIDS. Having successfully resolved that issue, she also added non-discrimination language to their collective bargaining to cover sexual orientation. She is currently the owner and manager of Marquis Entertainment, LLC and serves on the Boards of several non-profits.
